Pros and Cons

vivo X70 Pro+

Strengths

The phone feels premium and lightweight, easy to wield.
The curved 6.56-inch AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution and fast 120Hz refresh rate is more than adequate.
The battery life is excellent, scoring an endurance rating of 123 hours.
The camera setup is extensive for a mid-ranger, featuring a gimbal-stabilized 50MP main cam, two telephotos, and an ultra-wide cam.
Low-light photos from the main cam are really good, with impressive dynamic range and contrast.
Selfies come from a 32MP front-facing cam, with a good amount of detail, wide dynamic range, and accurate colors.
The phone is power efficient, allowing for snappy performance without overheating.
The price point is hard to beat, offering great value for camera-centric mid-rangers.

Weaknesses

No specific cons listed for this device

realme 14 Pro

Strengths

The color changing design is quite interesting, even if it's a gimmick over time. It feels much better than last year's Real Mi 13 Pro Plus or Xiaomi's Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus for that matter.
It has a solid premium and robust design, military standard A10 Edge compliant, shock resistant, and has all kinds of IP ratings like IP66, IP68, and ip69, which is a first in Realme's mid-range phone.
The display on this thing is nice too, with good color reproduction, touch response, and everything else. It has high PWM dimming, 120Hz refresh rate, works well, and the higher 1.5k resolution makes everything look sharp and RIS.
It also has a huge 6,000 mAh battery that easily gets over eight hours of screen on time with this phone, so 1.5 days of battery life plus it charges pretty fast like within 55 minutes with its 8wat charger.
The camera performance is decent, with good color reproduction and sharpness in images. The primary lens does a fantastic job during nighttime too, with nice details and exposure management.

Weaknesses

It's not the most balanced mid-range phone mainly because of its average performance and a lack of a good Ultra wide lens.
The ultra-wide camera has an average resolution (8 megapixel) that results in average ultra-wide angle images during daytime as well as night, and you cannot shoot 4K videos with it.
You have to settle for 1080p video recording when switching from the primary camera to the ultra-wide camera.
The Snapdragon 7s gen 3 chipset doesn't support 4K 60 FPS recording, so the max you can shoot from the main and front camera is 4K 30 FPS with quality issues like movement wble.
It's not perfect for every aspect, it has some flaws like average performance, ultra-wide lens issues and lack of better chipset which could have made it a king among mid-range phones.

vivo X70 Pro+

The Vivo X70 Pro is a premium mid-ranger that offers impressive camera capabilities at an affordable price. While it falls short in some areas compared to the flagship model, X70 Pro Plus, it still manages to deliver excellent performance and features. Design-wise, the phone has a premium feel with its frosted glass back and lightweight build, but lacks IP68 rating for waterproofing. The 6.56-inch AMOLED display is curved and offers a fast 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and impressive max brightness. However, it lags behind competitors in terms of audio quality, featuring only a single speaker. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity C1200 chipset, which provides high-level performance but not quite flagship-grade. Despite this, the phone's 4,450mAh battery offers excellent endurance, lasting for up to 123 hours on a single charge. The charging speed is also respectable with the bundled 44W adapter. The Vivo X70 Pro's camera setup is extensive and impressive for a mid-ranger, featuring a gimbal-stabilized 50MP main cam, two telephotos, and an ultra-wide cam. Image quality is excellent, with good dynamic range, punchy colors, and plenty of detail. The phone also excels in low-light photography, producing well-controlled noise and contrast. While the phone's video recording capabilities are disappointing, the gimbal stabilization makes 4K videos smooth and stabilized. Selfies from the 32MP front camera are a bit soft and noisy, but overall, the Vivo X70 Pro offers a great balance of features and performance at an affordable price. In conclusion, while the Vivo X70 Pro may not be perfect, it's a solid mid-ranger that delivers excellent camera capabilities, impressive battery life, and a premium design. If you're looking for a phone with great photography and aren't too concerned about minor compromises in other areas, then the X70 Pro is definitely worth considering.

realme 14 Pro

The Realme 14 Pro Plus is a color-changing smartphone that's hard to ignore. With its unique thermochromic design, this device promises a good overall package under ₹30,000. Performance might not be the strong suit of this phone, but its camera capabilities are noteworthy, especially for portrait shots. Let's dive into the pros and cons of this device.
