Pros and Cons

Xiaomi MI 11i

Strengths

The phone has a nice looking splash proof build
It comes with an excellent 120hz amoled display, great for gaming and video consumption
A top-tier Snapdragon 888 chipset provides strong performance and benchmarks near the top of the charts
The battery life is competitive, lasting 96 hours in our proprietary tests
The phone has fast charging capabilities, reaching a full charge in 52 minutes with the included 33W charger
It takes very good photos and videos from the main camera, especially in daylight conditions

Weaknesses

The MI 11i is not that cheap compared to other flagship killers on the market
The back panel attracts fingerprints easily due to its shiny surface
There's no wireless charging support, which is a downgrade compared to the more expensive MI 11 models
The ultrawide camera doesn't perform well in low light conditions and lacks an auto night mode
Selfies taken with the front-facing camera don't live up to expectations at their high resolution
The phone's interface is outdated, still running on MIUI 12 over Android 11

realme 14 Pro

Strengths

The color changing design is quite interesting, even if it's a gimmick over time. It feels much better than last year's Real Mi 13 Pro Plus or Xiaomi's Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus for that matter.
It has a solid premium and robust design, military standard A10 Edge compliant, shock resistant, and has all kinds of IP ratings like IP66, IP68, and ip69, which is a first in Realme's mid-range phone.
The display on this thing is nice too, with good color reproduction, touch response, and everything else. It has high PWM dimming, 120Hz refresh rate, works well, and the higher 1.5k resolution makes everything look sharp and RIS.
It also has a huge 6,000 mAh battery that easily gets over eight hours of screen on time with this phone, so 1.5 days of battery life plus it charges pretty fast like within 55 minutes with its 8wat charger.
The camera performance is decent, with good color reproduction and sharpness in images. The primary lens does a fantastic job during nighttime too, with nice details and exposure management.

Weaknesses

It's not the most balanced mid-range phone mainly because of its average performance and a lack of a good Ultra wide lens.
The ultra-wide camera has an average resolution (8 megapixel) that results in average ultra-wide angle images during daytime as well as night, and you cannot shoot 4K videos with it.
You have to settle for 1080p video recording when switching from the primary camera to the ultra-wide camera.
The Snapdragon 7s gen 3 chipset doesn't support 4K 60 FPS recording, so the max you can shoot from the main and front camera is 4K 30 FPS with quality issues like movement wble.
It's not perfect for every aspect, it has some flaws like average performance, ultra-wide lens issues and lack of better chipset which could have made it a king among mid-range phones.

Xiaomi MI 11i

The Xiaomi Mi 11i, also known as the Mi 11X Pro in India, is a premium smartphone that offers a great balance of features and price. While it cuts back on some features compared to its flagship sibling, the Mi 11, it still manages to impress with its sleek design, impressive display, and top-tier performance. The phone's design is quite similar to other recent Xiaomi phones, featuring a glossy back and a two-step camera bump. However, the frame is made of plastic instead of metal, which may be a letdown for some users. The Mi 11i also boasts an IP53-rated splash-proof rating, which is a nice touch. The display is a standout feature, with a flat 6.67-inch Super AMOLED panel offering great color accuracy and HDR10+ support. While it's not as sharp as the Mi 11's QHD display, it still provides excellent visuals. The phone also features a fast 120Hz refresh rate, which makes for smooth scrolling and gaming. Under the hood, the Mi 11i packs a powerful Snapdragon 888 chipset, which delivers top-notch performance and benchmark results. However, there is some thermal throttling during heavy use, but it's still one of the most powerful smartphones available at this price point. Camera-wise, the Mi 11i has a capable camera setup with a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro camera. While not perfect, it delivers great photos with good detail, natural colors, and excellent contrast. Nighttime shooting is also decent, but there's room for improvement. Overall, the Xiaomi Mi 11i is a solid choice for those looking for a premium smartphone without breaking the bank. However, considering its price, you may be able to find an actual flagship from a higher tier that offers more features and better performance.

realme 14 Pro

The Realme 14 Pro Plus is a color-changing smartphone that's hard to ignore. With its unique thermochromic design, this device promises a good overall package under ₹30,000. While it boasts impressive specs like a high-refresh-rate display and a triple-camera setup, there are some compromises to be made. Performance might not be the strong suit of this phone, but its camera capabilities are noteworthy, especially for portrait shots. Let's dive into the pros and cons of this device.
