Pros and Cons

AORUS 15G

Strengths

The keyboard is definitely the star of the show. If you're someone that does a lot of typing but doesn't need to do it in a quiet area then the mechanical keyboard alone could be worth considering.
Most others that have this are typically bigger machines, though there are others that are decent like the Eluktronics Mech-15 G3, but in my personal opinion the Aorus does feel better. Overall build quality with the all metal design felt nice
There's a good selection of I/O though would have been good to see some more Gen2 USB instead of all Gen1.
The screen had good colour gamut and brightness

Weaknesses

the performance wasn't where I'd like. There are big vents underneath and the fans can get quite loud
It's always going to be a trade off, this way it can't get hot, but it also means when compared to alternatives your performance starts looking lower
The cooling looks good, but the performance wasn’t where I’d like
In Adobe Photoshop the Aorus was lower compared to the others, which makes sense as this is a processor heavier test

Acer Nitro V 14

Strengths

The keyboard feels exactly like the MSI Sword from 2022, which is a good thing!
The trackpad is a decent size, not too big or too small, just perfect.
The device has nice little Easter egg things printed on it, which adds to its charm.
The screen is bright enough and not even on 100% brightness, which is good.
The keyboard lighting is not uniformly lit, but that might be intentional.
The device has a pretty cute design and is not overly gamer-like.
The AMD Ryzen 7 and Nvidia GeForce RTX combination sounds like a powerful processor and graphics card combo.

Weaknesses

The trackpad feels a bit draggy when using it, which might be annoying for some users.
The keyboard lighting is not uniformly lit, which can be frustrating.
The fans can get extremely loud when running performance-intensive tasks.
The device has a concave keyboard design, which might make it hard to type comfortably.
The trackpad depresses in the center, which might be uncomfortable for some users.
The device has ABS plastic body, which might not be as durable as other materials.
The screen is only 1200p, which might not be enough for some users who want higher resolution.
