Pros and Cons

HP OMEN 16

Strengths

I like the design, I think it looks really clean, it looks classy
The keyboard deck is very good looking, the keys felt great to use when gaming
You have a fairly good size touch pad at the bottom
Performance was fantastic with some of the best temps I've seen on a gaming laptop in the last few months
Battery life is really good, got really good battery life with this guy
The RGB lighting looks really cool and it's a great feature if that's your thing

Weaknesses

This display is absolutely horrible, they gotta stop sticking displays like this on laptops
Not the most premium feeling laptop on the market
Heat management is very interesting comparing it to other gaming laptops, CPU temps are always up at 88-89 degrees Celsius
You lose out in a little bit of performance when things get crazy on the omen 16 it just power throttles right away
Speakers nothing special, they're on the bottom of the laptop, they're a bit flat and there's no high end or mids are completely drowned out
Only one drive slot, usually with 16 inch notebooks especially gaming laptops you get at least two

HP EliteBook 640 G9

Strengths

It is very Sleek professional.
It is nice and it's although it's Hefty it's not heavy if that makes sense like you feel the weight but carrying it around for a long period shouldn't be an issue either it's about the weight of a school book so that aside.
The screen's 1080p I believe it's IPS but I'm not sure could be TN um it's not got the gloss to it so it's kind of hard for me to tell and I haven't looked up the specs but it is 1080P and it is a really nice screen that does very well.
The fact that it's not as shiny actually helps me when I'm in the bedroom and I'm typing on it it makes it easier for me to read the screen and to use it without any glares so um.
It has Iris Xe Graphics which is better than the older integrated Graphics.
Upgrading the storage from 256GB to 1TB was very easy using the same method as shown with the Asus
It's a great laptop for a student or business person and household use for normal stuff.

Weaknesses

The battery life is not as great as some other laptops.
It scratches very easily due to its aluminum material.
Fingerprints gather on the aluminum surface.
The battery life is decent but could be better with a complete power off.
Upgrading the storage requires careful handling to ensure proper sealing
It's not a gaming laptop, despite having Iris Xe Graphics.
The SC card reader is not useful for students like me and would have been better as an SD card reader.

HP OMEN 16

The HP Omen 16 is a sleek and powerful gaming laptop that boasts a unique design aesthetic. Its matte-black chassis exudes a premium look, despite being made from plastic, giving it a clean and effective appearance. Weighing in at 5.2 pounds, this chunky laptop packs a punch with its impressive specs, including an i7-1362H CPU paired with an RTX 4060 GPU. However, its biggest letdown lies in the display - a disappointing 65% sRGB rating that fails to impress.

HP EliteBook 640 G9

The HP EliteBook 640 G9 is a sleek and professional laptop designed for students and business professionals. With its 14-inch screen, the device offers a crisp 1080p display and decent touchpad experience. The keyboard, made of aluminum, feels sturdy and firm under the fingers. However, the battery life leaves much to be desired, with only a few hours of use on a single charge. This laptop is excellent for household use but not ideal for gaming enthusiasts due to its integrated Iris Xe Graphics.
