However, when it comes to sustained performance output in the Genshin Impact stress test, the K40 performs admirably, running at 50.45 fps – slightly higher than the Edge S. The phone's gaming performance is also commendable, with a Bright Ridge 20-minute test resulting in an average of 42 fps. However, there were instances where the frame rate dropped to around 20 frames per second after down throttling, indicating some optimization issues. One area where the K40 excels is in targeted optimizations for games specifically designed for the Redmi model. In these cases, the phone offers a better gaming experience than the Edge S, with temperatures never exceeding 50 degrees Celsius. While the K40's performance is not exceptional, it is still a notable improvement over its predecessors.
