Is it Worth it?

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 is an impressive laptop with an OLED display, RTX 4050 graphics, and Intel's new processor. However, its price tag of $2400 makes it hard to justify. With 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD, it's a solid machine, but the keyboard is only okay, the trackpad is weird, and the speakers are fine for that price. It's not bad value considering its performance, battery life (over 11 hours), and vapor chamber cooling system. But at this price point, you'd expect more, especially when compared to similar laptops from other brands like HP Spectre X360, which costs $660 less.

Build

The build quality of the Samsung Galaxy Book4 is impressive. The laptop's design is sleek and sturdy, with a solid aluminum chassis that exudes premium feel. The lid opens smoothly and stays put at various angles, making it easy to use in different environments. The keyboard deck is made of a smooth matte finish, and the keys have a satisfying tactile feedback. The trackpad, however, feels a bit odd to the touch, but still responds accurately to gestures. Overall, the build quality is top-notch, giving the impression that this laptop is built to last. It’s worth checking out Samsung Galaxy Book5 360, delivering remarkable build.

Display

The Samsung Galaxy Book4's display is a highlight of the device. The OLED panel provides vibrant colors and crisp images. As an UltraBook, it's impressive that it can produce such quality visuals despite its compact size. The touchscreen feature adds to its usability, making it easy to navigate through menus and interact with content. Additionally, the display's brightness and viewing angles are excellent, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use cases. Overall, the Galaxy Book4's display is a significant strength, offering an enjoyable visual experience for users. Give Samsung Galaxy Book Odyssey a try—it’s designed to provide an unparalleled display.

Performance

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 delivers respectable performance despite its slim design. It's powered by Intel's new processors, which are proving to be efficient. The laptop handled daily tasks with ease and multitasking was manageable. However, it was outperformed by the Asus G14 in benchmark tests. For creative professionals, the RTX 4050 graphics card provides a decent experience. Overall, the Galaxy Book4's performance is adequate for its price range, but not exceptional. It's a solid choice for those who prioritize portability over raw power, but may not be the best option for heavy users or gamers. Get your hands on MSI GS76 Stealth if you're looking for better performance.

Battery and Charging

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 boasts an impressive battery life, with over 11 hours and 30 minutes of endurance in our tests. The 73.8Wh battery is also quite efficient, allowing for a long-lasting charge. However, the high price point of $2400 makes it hard to justify, especially when compared to other laptops with similar specs at lower prices.

Connectivity

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 has a Wi-Fi card soldered down, limiting future upgrades. The fingerprint reader is conveniently located on the power button, but there's no facial recognition, which is surprising at this price point. The laptop also lacks USB-A ports and an SD card slot, making it seem like an afterthought. Connectivity options are otherwise standard, with two Wolfers and two tweeters providing decent sound quality. You might prefer Samsung Galaxy Book4 360, designed with an upgraded connectivity for a better experience.

Features

The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 boasts an impressive feature set. It's powered by Intel's new processors, which provide efficient performance. The laptop comes with a 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and RTX 4050 graphics card. Additionally, it features a stunning 13.3" OLED display with touch capability. The battery life is also notable, with over 11 hours of endurance in our tests. For a superior features, Samsung Galaxy Book5 360 could be the right choice.

Support and Maintenance

The Samsung Galaxy Book4's keyboard is an A-minus effort, but the trackpad is mediocre. Speakers are fine for casual use. Battery life is impressive at over 11 hours, but the high price tag of $2400 makes it a tough sell compared to similar laptops in its class.

Cons

1. The price is $2400 with 16 GB of RAM 1 TB SSD and RTX 4050 which is outrageous and doesn't match the value

3. The Wi-Fi card is soldered down so if you want Wi-Fi 7 I don't know just don't buy this laptop

4. The price makes no sense compared to other laptops with similar specs and features

5. You could get a Zephyris G16 for $22,000 that has the same amount of RAM and storage but an RTX 470

8. It doesn't have facial recognition despite its high price tag
